At February half term we stayed at a Travelodge outside Bangor. One morning the cloud was hanging over the tops of the mountains. I took these with the Fuji Bridge camera.

More cat photos
On these I experimented with using the flash and not using the flash. I can see that the flash makes him close his eyes, so the non flash seem better for indoor shots.
Above with flash, below without flash
The one above is one of my favourite photos. I used the soften background in advanced features. Really this should be used with a lens of 80+mm but I think it came out quite well.

Close up
On these photos I was trying to catch the prism effect of the light being split into colours of the rainbow, but unfortunately these didn't work out. I would probably need special filters for this.
Getting down low with the "wildlife"
I took some photos of our cat Toby.
I got down really low on the ground to take these, which I think makes the lens at the right level.

More Sports Mode
These were taken close up on sports mode.
It's quite difficult to capture these close up fast moving ones.
Sports mode
I have been using my uncle's Nikon 3100 DSLR which he has loaned me. This has a 18-55mm VR lens.
I used the Sports mode and also put the camera onto multiple shot mode for these photos.
This is much faster at taking multiple shots than the Fuji Bridge camera
